Hey I’m Yahna!
I’m a stay-at-home mom of a busy toddler that enjoys the challenge of being as self-sufficient as possible when it comes to home renovations and feeding my family wholesome, made-from-scratch meals creatively on a budget.
Thanks for coming along on my journey and hopefully some of my ideas will inspire you try new things because: “It couldn’t be that hard”.
Enjoy the journey!
It Couldn’t Be That Hard
Intentionally living on a budget has helped our family have the time and money to create great memories together.
“It couldn’t be that hard” has become my mantra when it comes to trying out-of-the-box ideas. Whether that means learning to mill my own flour, make bread from scratch, pressure canning, gardening with a toddler, or any number of home renovations, I always approach it as a step towards my goal of spending more quality time together as a family.
One of my challenges is to find and create great tasting meals that are simple, healthy, quick to put on the table, and budget friendly. Here’s to a great adventure!
